In TCREI Show #16, we’re joined by long-time friend of the show Andrew Street — and it’s about time! Andrew and his wife Tammy bought their first property in 2020, a beautifully preserved 1860s up/down duplex in Hastings, MN. With guidance from Adam and Tim, they turned the upper unit into a short-term rental (STR) — and it covered their mortgage.
What followed was even more impressive. The couple hit the road in their RV, traveling the U.S. while the duplex cash flowed in the background. Andrew eventually quit his W2 job and launched an STR management company, leveraging virtual assistants in the Philippines to run operations remotely.
Andrew’s story is an example of what’s possible when you act boldly and intelligently on that first deal. He’s humble, sharp, and doing great things — and we’re excited to share his journey with you.
